Paper Rings was an amazing read! Brittanee Nicole absolutely nailed this second-generation story set in the Langfield world.
JJ and Adeline’s chemistry was strong and emotional, especially given their history. Their connection felt real, layered, and worth the wait. The dual POV and dual timeline added so much depth—it really made their story hit harder emotionally. I loved seeing how much they still cared for one another and how badly they wanted each other, and watching them get their second chance was so satisfying.
JJ’s relationship with his daughter Avery was one of the sweetest parts of the book, and I loved how naturally Adeline fit into Avery’s life. Their bond was beautiful to watch unfold.
Overall, this was an incredible start to The New Romantics series.
