I really wanted to like this book, especially because I have a pin on my jacket for it. But it was like when you wake up and try to remember your dream but it makes no sense but you write it all down anyway….yeah it was like that. I quit and didn’t finish it. Book #107 in 2024

After a while this got hard to read. Loved the imagery. Wasn’t a fan of the plot.

I mean... time has definitely added some new layers to consider that aren't as over-lookable as when I first read this a hundred years ago, but still absolutely beautiful, imaginative, unforgettable writing.
