Once a Myth (GODDESS ISLES Book 1)

I am not sure how I feel after reading this one. It made me incredibly uncomfortable. I am sure if I continued reading the series I will get a better picture of all of the characters, especially our MMC. This book is to suck you in to continue reading the rest of the series but again some of the content just left a sour taste in my mouth, I am not sure if I can continue. I know a dark romance needs a villain or the "hero" needs to be a bit of villain, but I am not sure with this one...
