This is a beautiful, painful memoir about a woman's immigration to America, her husband's betrayal, and how she picked herself up afterward. It's a very honest portrayal of childhood abuse, what it's like moving to a completely different country, and an inside look at the culture within The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The author recognizes her strengths and faults along with the strengths and faults of others. Quite moving.
