Nine Perfect Strangers

Nine people gather at a remote health resort. Some are here to lose weight, some are here to get a reboot on life, some are here for reasons they can’t even admit to themselves. Amidst all of the luxury and pampering, the mindfulness and meditation, they know these ten days might involve some real work. But none of them could imagine just how challenging the next ten days are going to be. Combining all of the hallmarks that have made her writing a go-to for anyone looking for wickedly smart, page-turning fiction that will make you laugh and gasp, Liane Moriarty’s Nine Perfect Strangers once again shows why she is a master of her craft.

Certainly entertaining but a somewhat silly plot and far fetched characters. But it did make me laugh a few times and I was grateful for the silliness at times for that. I listened to this one and found it fun to listen to.

Not my favorite book, but interesting. It takes a little long to get to the action. You can feel something is up, which helped me get through the long setup. I wish I had Hulu to watch the show based on the book.

It was very close to being a 4 star book.I loved the development of the client personalities, and the writing of the chapters as different POVs. It definitely got outlandish at the end, and that was what brought it down for me. I probably could have rationalized away lots of things, but Masha's tv interview and book were not believable after the events that occurred.

My least favorite of all her books I read. I got to 87% done and just couldn’t go any further. It was not for me.
