Nine Perfect Strangers

Nine people gather at a remote health resort. Some are here to lose weight, some are here to get a reboot on life, some are here for reasons they can’t even admit to themselves. Amidst all of the luxury and pampering, the mindfulness and meditation, they know these ten days might involve some real work. But none of them could imagine just how challenging the next ten days are going to be. Combining all of the hallmarks that have made her writing a go-to for anyone looking for wickedly smart, page-turning fiction that will make you laugh and gasp, Liane Moriarty’s Nine Perfect Strangers once again shows why she is a master of her craft.

What a disappointment! I'm glad I waited for a copy from the library! If I had paid good money for the hard copy edition, I would have been extremely upset.

Fun read

I love this author and enjoyed the book but the plot stained credulity. Still, it was fun learn about the characters.

Was similar to the tv show, was hoping for more details. Good read otherwise, the story was intertesting and unique.

I really loved this book. Read a couple of reviews before which had said they felt the book lacked depth/a storyline but I disagree. I loved the characters and the way the book is written from each of their perspectives and the storyline weaved in between. This for me was a perfect blend of thriller / twists and love stories intertwined. Most of the characters resonating with real life and so I found them believable. There’s some desperately sad moments also which I thought was excellently written. Found myself binge reading this one and would definitely recommend as a holiday read or just for leisure/fun.
