When I walked away from my engagement, I resolved myself to being alone forever. Alone was safe. If only my mother wasn't still hearing wedding bells after my younger brother's recent marriage. My new overnight librarian job sounds like paradise to me, but to my mom, it sounds like I'm going to be single for eternity. Fate has other plans in the form of a beautiful beta who turns up like a hurricane to sweep me off my feet and straight into the arms of their pack. Too bad my horrible ex comes back to town and is ready to try everything possible to stop me from being happy. I bent to his demands before, but I'm not alone anymore.
