Never Mind: Book One of the Patrick Melrose Novels

Didn’t expect to stick with this through to the end but found myself absorbed. Well written account of the agonies of the English upper class, their dis- functional behaviours and the damage they cause through the generations, manifest in the 5-year old Patrick Melrose. It’s cleverly written, disturbing at times This is book 1 of a series - enjoyed it enough to move on to book 2.
