Never Finished: Unshackle Your Mind and Win the War Within

Over 1 million copies sold
This is not a self-help book. It's a wake-up call!
Can't Hurt Me, David Goggins' smash hit memoir, demonstrated how much untapped ability we all have but was merely an introduction to the power of the mind. In Never Finished, Goggins takes you inside his Mental Lab, where he developed the philosophy, psychology, and strategies that enabled him to learn that what he thought was his limit was only his beginning and that the quest for greatness is unending.
The stories and lessons in this raw, revealing, unflinching memoir offer the reader a blueprint they can use to climb from the bottom of the barrel into a whole new stratosphere that once seemed unattainable. Whether you feel off-course in life, are looking to maximize your potential or drain your soul to break through your so-called glass ceiling, this is the only book you will ever need.

"Haters think that they're bringing you down, but you know what - in reality they confirm that you're at the top of your game.
You'll never meet a hater doing better than you."
David Goggins is back and as per usual, he's not holding back. While I completely disagree with this man's method of just lacing up and trying to do 100 mile races with little to no training (among other types of insanity), I do love to read about his story and his message that we are always a work in progress. Goggins speaks in this book about digging deep, exhausting every option on that quest for greatness.
I listened to the audiobook so I could listen to the podcast after each chapter between Goggins and narrator Adam Skolnick - we also had a section where David brought his mom on to talk a bit about her life. Another great book - one that had me chomping at the bit to set my next unreachable goal.
Here's to my personal quest - I will celebrate and learn from my failures. I will not drop my head when I fail, but keep looking forward so that I can learn, grow and see the path moving forward towards my goal. I will not settle for meeting the standard. I will set lofty goals and bust my tail reaching them. I will let my hard work inspire me and I will strive to inspire those around me. Most importantly, I will STAY HARD.
