At forty years old, she has an enviable life: a successful career, stunning looks, a beautiful house in the suburbs, two healthy children, and most importantly, an ideal husband, whose wealthy background allows her to transcend her own social class. After fifteen years together, she is still besotted with him. But she’s never quite sure that her passion is reciprocated.

Determined to keep their relationship perfect, she meticulously prepares for every encounter they have, fueling an obsessive love that drives her to watch him attentively, testing him to make sure that he still loves her just as much as he did when they first met.

I absolutely devoured this book. It was fantastic.
I, too, feel like I am obsessed with my husband and overthink everything. But reading it to this extent was insane.
I loved how intricate and detailed her delusions went.
The whole book I genuinely believed she just drove herself insane. I loved the last chapter, I couldn’t believe it.
My favorite read of January!

I don't even know how to describe this book. I was highly annoyed by it but could not stop reading. I literally would respond to the narrator out loud sometimes with my reactions. It was like nothing I have ever read before. As a married woman who considers herself also a feminist, I just can't decide if I think the woman is crazy or if she's just more honest than most women.

I had high hopes for this book but it was kind of boring. The end had somewhat of a twist but the entire book was just the wife going on and on obsession with her husband. I expected more drama.
