My Father Bleeds History (Maus)

While I appreciate the nature of the story, the author’s attempt to cloak his writing in comics does nothing for the story or his abilities. I found this book hard to read because of his writing style.

Sharp and poignant - very raw illustrations and beautiful cross between a biography and autobiography on very tough subject matter.

Part 1 of an absolute must read. It makes my heart ache but it’s essential to learn about.
