A beautiful book of poetry, but so much more than just poetry. This book takes you on a journey. Read it all the way through, like a novel. These are not individual poems. This is one continual poem, one continual story. It may, at first read, seem so simple, and it is, but it continues to resonate through you, and will require more than one reading. This book will reside in my I-have-read-it-but-need-it-near-me book stack.
My very first poet/poetry book, is the reason why I absolutely fell in love with the poetry genre.

This is so eloquently written. I could feel her soul speaking to women all around the world..stay rooted, stay grounded.
Honest, heart breaking, uplifting, and beautiful. These poems take you on a journey akin to a Phoenix being reborn.
