Little Lydia. Our main character was the sole witness to a family’s murder when she was ten, and many years later, she finds an ex-com patron hanged in the bookstore where she works. Strange occurrences, and things get stranger as she tries to figure out why her ‘friend’ Joey killed himself. The twists in this one were suspenseful without being scary. I enjoyed getting to know the characters. Very enjoyable audiobook!!

Well written. Kept me on the edge of my seat. It is a mystery, but the death scene in chapter 1 when Lydia goes upstairs to look for Joey was very detailed. . . it put me in a room I never want to be in.

I really enjoyed this book! It was awesome reading something that takes place in a familiar area.

I thought the storyline was super unique and I enjoyed how it all unfolded. I got a little frustrated with Lydia at some points but I’m glad I came around to liking her as a character. Raj was my favorite because he was able to fit into her life as if no time had passed. I love friendships like that.
