Meet the Newmans is a behind the scenes look at a beloved sitcom family as they struggle with trying to stay relevant and employed. Amid trying to stay on the air, the family is faced with many social justice issues such as sexism and female repression, along with strong anti-gay sentiments during the fifties and sixties. If you are a fan of Taylor Jenkins Reid you may find this story quite enjoyable. I know I did.
