This book was a delightful epistolary novel, showing the evolving relationship between two individuals advancing in age and reflecting on the life they'd lived thus. May take readers of a certain age to appreiciate just how the emotional tone is spot on.
Wow. This was absolutely fantastic. Well-written and captivating from the first letter, I can already tell it's going to be part of me for a long, long time. Loads to think and talk about in this one.

I wanted to like this book, but I struggled to remain engaged. It sounded so promising from the blurb: two strangers brought together by a common interest in The Tollund Man. I also enjoyed the format of the book. It is a series of letters between Tina and Anders as they correspond initially about their shared archaeological interest, but quickly move onto observations about life, the universe and everything, and consequentially grow closer to each other through each letter exchanged. Unfortunately, despite all these positives, I cared very little for either of the characters and easily guessed the plot twist intended for the finale of the novel. I also felt, at points, that the author was just showing off how much archaeological research she had done in preparation for the book.
Meet Me at the Museum by Anne Youngson is a charming story told through letters between an English farm wife and a Danish museum curator. This unlikely correspondence develops into a true friendship. Will their friendship change them?
