A great beach or vacation book. I enjoyed reading from the varying perspectives of the women in their different stages of life. The author did a good job of creating empathy for each one. I only wish there had been a family tree in the front of the book. It was hard to keep each family member straight at times. And I enjoyed the few touches of historical events she used as well.
