Hated her the writing is fine but often repetitive because this was a magazine stories. She talks about her awful hard luck life but chooses to buy a diamond ring over getting her daughter healthy. She does housekeeping and makes me realize Why I Never want one as she snoops through homes and tries on clothes. She is the kind of person that you hate at the end for all of the Stupid decisions she makes.

I didn’t embrace this book. It felt to me like it was one continuous whine and complaint. I cleaned for a living for several years and never felt the way Stephanie did about that line of work. No, I did not have the exact same circumstances however, I did not think like the author. I tried the Netflix show ( both daughters enjoyed it) again, it did not resonate with me.
