Lucid Dreams

I tried to read this book on kindle about 1yr ago 2 different times and couldn’t get into it at the time.. but circled back around and listened to the audiobook and really enjoyed.. Nigel aka Nite and Daivion aka Dai were twins that looked nothing alike, 1 dark skinned and the other light skinned.. but were so in tune with each other.. they had a rough upbringing from their father Sir’s abuse to them and their mother Anna, that lingered into adulthood with nightmares they couldn’t escape from.. they popped pills and drugs to suppress the trauma.. but Nite met Hunter and she brought love into his life, along with her son Axel.. she also had a terrible upbringing as her mom had Cancer and stopped doing chemo when she was pregnant.. she passed giving birth and her father Shawn resented and mistreated her for it.. her brothers, Rob, Buddy were following in their father’s footsteps and sometimes abused her as well, except Junior who had been locked up.. turns out Junior went to prison even though his father pulled the trigger and was the one who killed Dai & Nite’s father when they were younger.. it caused a lot of chaos and friction between them.. Harvey was the white friend that came from money and his dad really looked out for them and invested their money, which made millions later.. Harvey hooked up with Hunter’s bff Junie.. Dai ended up meeting Rena while on the yatch vacation and then had her come help take care of him after he had been shot by Rico.. they finally stopped popping pills and just smoked.. ended up getting a legit business.. Aaron turned over his parental rights and Axel became Nite’s son and they had a baby girl Neli.. Hunter finished dental school and Nite bought her a business.. after her dad tried to rape her, Nite had shot him but didn’t kill him.. he ended up having issues with liver from all the years of drinking and died.. it was a complicated story, but enjoyable.. Bambi, King, Shayla, Tristen, Bianca, and shim Bone made brief appearances in the book and they was funny too.. it was good and I enjoyed

Ladii Nesha will always be good for a great laugh and getting some emotions up out you. This one was a slow start for me but when it got going, it went. Man, am I so happy for Hunter, Nite, and Dai! Glad they got a happy ending. So deserved after all the shit they had to go through in life. And, wow, how small the world is for them to be connected the way they were. I'm trying not to say too much. I'm glad they were able to push past the BS and find their way back to one another.
