A wonderful insight to the therapeutic process hitting on themes of love, secrecy, death anxiety and humanity. While there are problematic language that can be difficult to view in our modern palettes, the book is a valuable insight to the human condition
The first half of the book is an interesting and easy read, however 2nd half got boring and provided no additional insight. It's a good book to read for beginner therapists, but might scare off those folk who are not in the profession due to some critical language that Yalom used towards his clients (even though we are all human and experience such thoughts about others).
Revelating! I loved this book.
