Less Is Lost (The Arthur Less Books Book 2)

It took me so long to finally start reading this book, and a readathon to make me read it in a day, and I wonder why I bothered. Don’t get me wrong. This is an extremely well written book, and was not a complete waste of time, but I was disappointed, nonetheless. I had heard such high praise for it and maybe was expecting too much. It never really grabbed me, but I did want to know how it turned out. There were parts that made me laugh, but that was the strongest emotion this book evoked.

I have to say I approached this book a little wary. I had requested it from the library months ago, so I had forgotten all about it, and was surprised when it came in. I was imagining a story of a man who was working on his novel, and instead I found something else. This book was beautifully written, and always left me wanting to finish it, but also to cherish and savor it, because so rarely is something this well written. This is a fantastic book, I would recommend it to anyone.
