Les Misérables

This is one of my favorite books of all time.

I will always love the musical and movie much more than the book. It's wonderful, and a classic, but a little hard for me to get absorbed in because of the writing style. When it comes to very old classics, I find myself skimming a lot. It's wonderful, but a challenge!

Classic. With good reason.

I guess I have to thank corona for finishing this so quick. I have watched the musical a multitude of times and was curious on what was left out. The wretched in this was even more than I could've expected. Hugo interwove these characters lives beautifully. Part of me is glad it is over so I can move on to stories with niceties, the other part of me will miss these characters.
