This book is a raw look at life in the projects. Some content may be hard to stomach, but it shines light on real circumstances some children face.

I enjoyed this book a lot. It gave me an appreciation for my own mothers childhood, and the sacrifices she made. This book was shocking at at times hard to swallow, but I can believe every bit of it would actually happen, and is still happening in different ghettos across the US. I do recommend reading if you can stomach the hard stuff.

I loved this book. Thr characters so well defined. I kept wanting to find out what happened next. Very interesting perspective of life in the Robert Taylor Homes.
