Reading Labor Day as the holiday approached was a good decision. As my summer came to an end, I could reminisce along with the characters about a more simplistic time, when life was slower. This novel, told from the point of view of thirteen year-old Henry, has a quiet, subtle way of pulling your heartstrings. Such a simple story, with a meaningful message.
