This was my first foray into Melanie Jacobson and I know I'll pick up more of her work. It was a fun, clean romance with snappy dialogue. I was impressed by the depth and issues that this book addressed in a respectful way without being too much for sensitive readers. The romantic actions of the male lead are also a great example of consent and how somebody should behave when it comes to boundaries. I'd suggest this not only to any fans of romance, but also as a book to hand to a person formulating ideas and opinions about how they should act or be treated in a romantic situation. While there are expected (and necessary) miscommunications when it comes to the plot, the respectful communication about romantic boundaries is crystal clear.
