Thea and Sal's story is just basically guy initially wanting to kill the girl for knowing his secret but not being able to.
Gio and Emma's story was more better reading, he didn't just go straight into banging but he did bother to know her better so he earned some brownie points for that. But ultimately it's still about breeding and 8 children? Geez no way.
