For a sequel this one started off on a strange note and took awhile to get back on track for me. By the time I started enjoying the book again, it was basically over. Cyndi and friends are once again pulled into the water park where they face the masked killer for the final time! I enjoyed the scenes for used on Cyndi, Johnny, and Christie who were characters introduced in book 2. I like their dynamic and im attached to them. Unfortunately a good portion of this book has the three main characters separated, causing this long arc where they need to reunite and it really drags the pacing down. If you’re a Kill River fan obviously you need to read this, but I’d say it’s my least favorite in the trilogy.
