What a lovely story. I came into it thinking it would be more of a thriller but if I didn’t get a beautiful story about a kid dealing with life as it comes. The ending of this book is heartbreaking and lovely and thrilling. I love how everything came together and the lead up to it all was great, I’m glad that I changed my way of thinking about the book or I never would have appreciated it the way I did.
Another surprising tale from the master. A very enjoyable coming-of-age tale, murder mystery and dip into supernatural waters.
