Nadine is sent overseas to apprehend an escape convict. On their trip back home, they crash near/on and island and only she and Adrian - the convict - survive. Now that the tables have turned in his favor and they are all alone, Adrian plans to punish and train Nadine for plucking him from hiding and putting him in this situation.

So, there isn’t much of a story here. We just basically follow them as they try to survive on the island and that’s speckled with some Dom/sub activity. Honestly, I kind of wished that there had been a game of cat and mouse on that island beforehand or that Adrian actually turned out to be an evil sort of guy. Instead, he magically knows how to survive pretty well while Nadine becomes inept which is not what we are led to believe she is at the start. It’s pretty rushed story-wise.

I mean, it’s an okay read. A quick read. In this case, I wouldn’t have minded darker! If you don’t mind suspending all belief for a sorta spicy beach read, this may be for you!
