Another one down. This was so funny and sweet. Eve was very hurt by her parents choice to get divorced after learning of her father’s infertility. As a senior in HS ages dealing with a lot and has to learn how to navigation hurt, healing, love, loss/grief and learning how to open yourself up to new possibilities. I appreciated the topic of grief especially because Evie’s feelings mirror some of the feelings I still have today as an adult. This was beautiful! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I loved reading the book and seeing Evie on her journey of opening up and falling in love. The book was a little slow paced for me but I pushed through and finished. I’m so glad I did because the book had a big gasp moment and beautiful yet elegant ending.
This book is so sweet, funny, and heart breaking. Without giving too much away, it ends in a happy for now but we know that it won't be happy for long. And that wasn't how I thought this book would end.
If you could see into the future and see how the relationship ends, would you look? A sweet lesson about how to see what love and loss truly means and looks like.
A wonderful contemporary YA romance where the world of doubt and being spontaneous converge and can lead to wonderful things if we let our minds be open to the possibilities and take a chance. Evie was a happy 17-year old who adored her parent’s marriage and loves reading romance novels. In fact, she is an avid collector and reader of romance novels up until she walked in on her father at his office. There she discovers her father in the middle of a passionate kiss with his secretary. Shortly thereafter, her entire world comes crashing down. Her parents get a divorce and her love of romance novels is no more.
What I loved about this novel is the arc Evie has to take and the fun ride she takes to get there. She learns to trust in love and that it’s okay to love and lost than to never experience love at all. It truly warmed my heart as I started reaching for my facial tissues on more than one occasion.
Very easy read but it draws you in. If I didn’t have so many other obligations, I would have read it in one sitting if I could. Take a chance with love and this novel.

Also, this is sweet, and a little sad.
Didn't know about the super natural element. Love that.
The cover is pretty.
