Thomas Pynchon is just not for me. My husband has requested that I stop reading his books now since all I do when I read them is complain about them constantly.
It's hard because 1) my dad liked Pynchon so I'm trying to understand, and 2) he's generally respected by a lot of people I respect, 3) ultimately I kind of liked The Crying Lot so my FOMO is strong.
This was fine, but it wasn't amazing.
