3.75 ⭐️This book was super cute and I loved Oak Haven. I’ve read a lot of novels about witches and while this one was good, it was somewhat prosaic. It had a cute concept however, and the last 20 pages were my favorite of the story. As promised, it is highly reminiscent of both Charmed and Gilmore Girls, with a reference to an iconic line from the latter. The acknowledgments in the back give credit to the various inspirations for the plot which I appreciate, even though they did make the story just a tad bit derivative. The guilt/blame plot was redundant and barely made sense, but the sister dynamics were definitely realistic. Overall, I did enjoy this cute cozy book.
