I think the key with this one is going in knowing no matter what it will never compare to The Fever Series. I just relished being in this world again. I can see the great heroine potential Dani has coming to her but it's a long wait. I did have a very hard time believing Mac and Barrons were just off somewhere twiddling their thumbs while the world was falling apart. Unless we find out later they were busy with their own battle. It's still a must read for any Fever fan.
