“The truth is, fragile things rarely fare well in the world. More often, they farewell to it.” Another Heartland List book and I mostly enjoyed it. I don’t think the pieces from long ago fit where they were, but this was a good story. The writing is YA, so it’s a bit choppy and the story is step by step. Book #74 in 2024
