I honestly was attracted to the cover and the few pages was quite interesting, but then after page 100, it keeps changing to multiple characters, like you were reading about character A pov, then jump timeline then jump into character B and then jump timeline again. So of course when you read multiple POvs, you would think it would be helpful to solve the mystery. But, individually, all characters mentioned all have secrets of their own, and only one person knew about this because of her being a Karen in an upscale residential area. The vibe gives a bit of Desperate housewives x pretty little liars because need to solve of who had done it.
It’s neither give a mystery nor a thriller. It was more of like everyone is gossiping, talking among each other, suspicious of everyone.
On the bright side, I got this book pretty cheap at RM 24 which is like at $5 so I guess it’s worth the money. Had it been RM60 (equals to $13.57), I would had been so mad with myself because the ending is is just meh.
