Hyacinths, Egg Hunts and Death (A Knick-Knack Boutique Mystery)

Anderson Springs is hosting an egg and scavenger hunt with a grand prize of $10,000 to attract more tourists. But it seems there are some rotting eggs in the mix. Lyndy finds a fake golden egg and her young friend finds a body in the hyacinth bush. Lyndy teams up with Sheriff Cody to delve into the seedy secrets in the town. But with multiple factions trying to manipulate the egg hunt and more dead bodies, can they untangle the threads to this mystery?

A cleverly crafted case with multiple twists. This was my first visit to Anderson Springs and the story works fine as a stand-alone. Good characterizations overall with Lyndy being a relatable character. I liked the relationship between her and Cody. All in all a fun diversion.
