Delightful story with surprising and unique characters. I've often been curious about this story and I'm happy I finally took a moment to explore it. Howl's moving castle was quirky, bright, magical and filled with found family. Its an easy read but it'll stay with me.
Reread! Best book ever! I adore these characters so much! And as great as the Ghibli movie is, the characters are better in the book. Sophie is so spicy and Howl is soooo dramatic and Calcifer is just long suffering <3 <3 <3
So different from the movie. I was so surprised when Howl's nephews said he made them video games. Also Calcifer is the best character.
Just perfect. I loved it. I loved the differences from the movie. It made me love the movie more too. Just the cutest book ever.
