This book was a huge eye opener for medical racism. Morrison is a great author and I respect her even more for writing this one. This is a must read!
A novel about the vagaries of human connections and the constancy of coming home. Smart Money reveals himself to us through his reconnections following service in the Korean War. His story is at once poignant and hopeful. The things he endured don't break him, but he holds true to the only family he has - his sister.
