Holes by Sachar, Louis (2001) Mass Market Paperback

I first read this book in 3rd grade as required reading and then we watched the Disney movie and I've always loved it but I prefer the movie over the book mainly because of the cast.

I picked this up at the .25 cent sale from my library. It was actually the book that made me realize I can read whatever I want, at any level I want, in any genre that I want -- even as a 30 something. Watched the movie, loved it. Read the book, loved it even more.
