Hero (The Morgan Brothers)

I was really interested in the premise of this story based on the blurb, but the first half of the book was just way too over the top for me. Saturated with really strange dialogue and not much storytelling, just pages and pages of pointless conversation. I also can’t believe any real people actually talk to each other like that, cringey and contrived at times. I was not sure I wanted to keep reading. That being said, the second half of the story where Colby tries to win over Lydia’s kids was actually extremely beautiful, and I liked the ending.
