Oh, this story had me on the edge of my seat throughout!

Cain is a mysterious millionaire architect developing a new futuristic city, and he will give only one interview and tour of the place before it is open. Layla is fortunate enough to be the journalist to land this interview.

They are both curious about the other when they meet. Cain who is rather elusive is so taken by Layla that he wants to be more involved in the interview and show her around.

While Cain is taken with Layla, he also has secrets that he does not want revealed. But for some reason it feels as if those secrets are bursting at the surface now.

There is a compass serial killer that has surfaced and Layla is ready to investigate these killings and solve this mystery.

Will Layla investigating this killer also reveal Cain's secrets? This story surprised me because I really thought I knew who the killer was until it was revealed later in the story!
