Graveyard Shift (Lana Harvey, Reapers Inc.)

I did enjoy this book, just not as much as I anticipated. I felt the concept was really strong and unique. I really appreciated the efforts the author went to in order to build such an extensive afterlife universe. The plot felt to me, as though it were dragging a little and quite flat. The main characters were well rounded and quite likeable, Gabriel being my favourite! There were so many characters, however, I must admit I had to really concentrate to remember them all, their backstory and the role they played in the storyline but that could be just me trying to read with a tired brain! *grins sheepishly* Overall it was refreshing to read about an entirely new take on the afterlife and the characters were pretty interesting and enjoyable to read about. I look forward to seeing where this series goes from here.
