this book was super good! It was surprising and overall a good thriller with different perspectives.
Content warning for violence, kidnapping, death, abuse, and related topics. I really enjoyed this novel, it was unlike anything I had read before. What I originally thought was a weird formatting decision ended up being part of the twist which completely surprised me. I remember reading The Perfect Mother, also by Molloy years ago and loving it. I had such high expectations from that novel and none of them were met. This is one of the poorest written thrillers I’ve read in a long time, and a huge disappointment. I have no idea why this book has so many 4 and 5 star reviews, because it does not deserve it.
