Gone to See the River Man (Gone to See the River Man Series Book 1)

It’s taken me longer than normal to gather my thoughts around this one and to determine the rating! 😅 This was my first read of Triana’s, one that has been on my TBR for quite a long time! I do love his writing style and he does an absolutely amazing job with imagery and setting an immersive atmosphere!! 🙌 While I was hooked on finding out whether the River Man was real, who he was, and what was going to happen to Lori (who is one of the most disgusting and messed up characters I have ever read about), once we got there I was a bit let down. The ending seemed rushed and I was left feeling disappointed. All that, for that? (IYKYK) 🫠 I still want to read more from Triana - I just think maybe this one wasn’t for me. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Not every book is for every person! ❤️ Feel free to check it out though!
