Forgotten God: Reversing Our Tragic Neglect of the Holy Spirit

New York Times-bestselling author Francis Chan offers a compelling invitation to understand, embrace, and follow the Holy Spirit's direction in our lives.

What if the thing our churches are missing isn't a something, but a Someone? Francis Chan's Forgotten God seeks to reverse our neglect of the Holy Spirit by exposing the enormous gap between what Scripture says about the Spirit and how most believers and churches operate today.

Through solid scriptural support and compelling narrative, Chan reveals the Holy Spirit as the Bible describes Him. His goal isn't merely to educate readers--it's to infuse reader's lives with the presence of the Holy Spirit in profound ways.

The Holy Spirit is very important and powerful. The question is why would the Lord give us the Holy Spirit when we had Him in the flesh. If he remained in the flesh we would not be saved from our sins past, present, and future; we will not be able to trust and have faith in all the Lord can do. I like how it says that we become His child through knowing the Holy Spirit. It turns us from slaves to children that he accepts and loves and we can say it with confidence.
