Foolish Hearts

This is my first book read for 2018 and I read it in one day. I wish I had relationships like Claudia has with her family and friends. And that I was as witty and smart as her. The drama of high school and high school theater productions is spot on as well as the social class differences in the students and the loneliness of going to a high school that is different from the one all of your friends that you have know forever are going to. There were some deep moments with the characters that made me as a reader think and grow a little in emotional maturity as well. I don’t want to give away too much of the plot since that could ruin the storyline and how the book is suppose to affect you but I would highly recommend. I usually do not read contemporary novels but once again Owlcrate finds the perfect book for me.

I started this book technically the night before but I was worried I was going to wake my husband up with my laughter, so I held off. I thought this book was funny and endearing. I kept reading parts of it out loud to my husband, and he kept saying, “Are you sure you didn’t write this book? Because this sounds like something you would write”. And I’m trying to figure out if TION is BTS or not. I want them to be. But anyway, I really, really liked this book. Thanks, Owlcrate!

I like it. It was funny.
Their game reminds me of when I played Warcraft all the time.

I have a brother that slept with all my friends, it does ruin your relationship with all of them.
Because your friends want him, and not you anymore.
