I mean ......the movie is definitely not like the book lmao
It's a haunting and unforgettable story that captivated me as a teenager, thanks to my grandma's recommendation. The book's dark themes and emotional intensity kept me hooked from the first page. Who can forget the chilling scene of the sugared donuts and the terrifying and unspeakable events that unfolded in the attic? Andrews masterfully weaves a tale of family secrets, betrayal, and survival that lingers long after the last page. It’s a must-read for anyone who enjoys twisted family dramas.
Absolutely NOT !
I feel as though I need to clean my eyes from having read all this filth.

I can't think of another way to describe this book; it was disturbingly beautiful. In five days I read it and in five days I fell in love will Chris and Cathy and the twins. It was cruel and perverted, but that was precisely what this story needed.
I will make this review short: this book simply broke my heart, the story was horrible yet amazing and V.C Andrews's writing was simply incredible.
I have never read anything like this in my life and without a doubt I should certainly start.
