The Waverlys have something indescribable about themselves. Gifts, unique to each one, that are their birthright. Bay is 15 and awkwardly the heroine of this tale, although it may really be about the Apple tree that blossoms at first frost. Several strands of story are whimsically interwoven in this novel about family and acceptance.
