First Degree (The Andy Carpenter Series, 2)

I like listening and reading this series. But I wouldn’t regard this as top grade. I do like hearing the procedural side of the law, and the bag of tricks used by the prosecution and defense. This time it’s Andy’s girlfriend who needs his expertise, as she was apparently in the wrong place at the wrong time. But never fear, Andy pulls it out. I also enjoyed hearing how the Tara Foundation got its start, named after his beloved golden retriever, Tara. Good popcorn entertainment.
