Formulaic twist novel. Stereotype main characters that make you want to pull your own hair. My favorite part was that much of it is set outside Detroit in the town where my aunt used to teach, and it's quite accurate.
I really enjoyed this book - it sucked me in with the vivid descriptions of settings like Watch Hill, RI, New York City and Warren, MI - immediately placing me in the world of Mrs. Ford. The characters are believable and multi-dimensional.
