This book was chosen for me blindly, so I had no idea what it was about or read the reviews, only the synopsis in the book and the front comments.
This book isn’t it…
First off, I was disappointed that it had nothing involving sharks…
Second, this book offered nothing new. It felt like I was watching a terrible syfy or lifetime movie about a middle eastern group of people hijacking an airplane. Sound familiar to anyone?? Like why is this even popular? It offered nothing new and the family acted really dumb.
Example in the first few pages this happens: A cable tech guy (Sam) shows up, while Carrie (Bill’s wife) allows him to sit in her kitchen table as if they were the best friends, while she serves him tea or breakfast… a TOTAL stranger. Then when her husband (Bill) comes down the stairs she has to ask Sam, to leave them alone? Like whut

If you are looking for a quick and fast paced suspenseful thriller, this is it. I really enjoyed this one and would have finished in a day or two if life didn’t get in the way. While reading Falling, it felt like it would make for a great movie so I was glad to see its already in the works. Ready to read her next book Drowning.
I loved this. I had a great time.
Planes are terrifying.
Planes are terrifying.
Good similar as drowning
A pilot is forced to make a choice between saving his wife and children or the plane full of passengers he is flying from LA to New York.
While it was at times very cliche and I guessed that the author was new to the “published” roster, I was entertained while reading.
Not sure I will read anything else from her, but I would watch this one as a movie. Maybe Idris Elba could play Bill.
