Ok I actually feel so bad for not liking this one seeing as how popular it is, but, come onâ¦
- First of all, a teacher wearing ripped jeans to school??? Yeah, ok
- The FMC was so whiny and unlikable from the very beginning for me
- I gagged at least 50% of the time
- âSpanksâ?! Seriously?! In what world???? I might have even forgiven âCelery Stick,â but âSpanksâ?!?!?!
The only good thing for me was the convo with mom.

Loved it. I laughed and cried through it. Coming up in February is my Dads one year death date from cancer and relating with her over that was crazy. I loved this book. I felt a lot of emotions and it helped a bit as well.
I can’t believe I finished this in a day! I started it and I was hooked right away! I needed to keep reading and so I did. All day long. I think my kids think I am crazy! I loved the lightheartedness of the book and the ease that everything came for the characters. I loved that Miles pulled Olive out of her comfort zone, but he loved being in her comfort zone as well. I enjoyed the book was about embracing each others differences as a couple and not changing who you are to be with someone. I truly enjoyed this book! Probably my favorite Christmas book!
